I am bilingual, French/ Portuguese. I have completed my degree at the University of Coimbra, one of the best in Portugal.
I'm a communicative person, who likes to meet new people. I love to travel, and whenever I do I try my best to get to know the local community and the local area, because that's the only way to get to know the reality of each country. I've already volunteered in Africa, with my 12-year-old daughter, and the last trip we did together was to India, where I took a yoga course. I love reading and writing, music, beach and simple life. Empathy and respect for others are essential to me: "Don't do to others what you wouldn't want them to do to you".عني كمعلّم

I am a certified teacher, and my teaching method is based mainly on conversation, so that the student learns as much vocabulary as possible, choosing topics of common interest, so that classes are interesting and motivating. We are very to have met Virginie. She is teaching Portuguese to my 9 year-old son. Her lessons are fun and captivating for the child. Virginie has the methods and experience to teach children. My son has shown great progress with her. He enjoys the lessons very much and looks forward to them. I strongly recommend her to everyone looking to find an experienced teacher.

I've now been learning Portuguese with Virginie for over six months (probably about 60 lessons). It's been a great experience! Virginie has patiently helped me learn so much: I started at basically zero knowledge but we now spend each lesson conversing almost exclusively in Portuguese. I highly recommend Virginie for her patient approach and flexibility in teaching style for any level of learner

wow wow wow. such a great course with Virginie. I can't wait to take more. I already feel more confident in my ability to learn Portuguese after one hour together. A motivating and kind professor who very clearly understands how to teach and get the most of her students. 10/10.
