I am a modern and ancient Greek teacher. I acquired my degree with honors from the Kapodestian University of Athens (specialization in philosophy) and after that, I took on an MS degree at the University of Paris (Aristotle). Having lived most of my life abroad, in Europe mainly, but shortly in Japan and Argentina as well, I have mainly taught Greek as a second language. I have more than 10 years of offline teaching experience and 2 years of experience teaching online on Italki. I am currently based in Athens, Greece. Apart from Greek, I speak English, French, and Spanish and I have a basic communication level in Dutch.

I love languages and communication. The center of each class for me is the students and a good class is a class where communication is established and flows naturally. I always strive to understand the student's needs. As a teacher, I am organized, dynamic, and patient. What you can expect from me is a clear methodology for acquiring the grammar with clear explanations and good examples each time and a good structure of the lesson where things come one after the other and not randomly. I like building knowledge in blocks and always adding on top of the already-known material. My golden rule for language acquisition is revision!

دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي

The material is adapted to the student's level and provided each time. The students will be getting all the necessary material in the form of PDFs. Extra material/homework and audio are also provided. The duration of each lesson is 55 minutes for the 60min class and 40min for the 45min class. The lesson will either start 5 min later or finish 5 min earlier (my lessons are consequtives).
