I have 6 years of experience in teaching Arabic and the Moroccan dialect.
I taught many programs in Morocco and I also have experience in the US teaching Arabic and Moroccan dialect at the University of Texas.عني كمعلّم

- Completed an intensive pedagogy workshop and training on teaching listening and reading skills as well as vocabulary
- Completed an intensive pedagogy workshop and training on creating and developing Moroccan dialect materials
- Completed a four day intensive pedagogy workshop and training on OPI proctoring

My teaching method generally follows the structure listed below, but I am happy to customize our lessons and adapt them to your needs.
1. Send the student reading or audio files on a topic of their choice before the class.

Karima is an amazing teacher! I had the opportunity to study with her in person when I lived in Morocco and she is just as effective of a teacher online. She is great at explaining new concepts and vocabulary and always picks interesting topics and videos for our lessons - not to mention she is one of the kindest people I have the pleasure to know! I cannot recommend Karima enough for anyone looking to study Arabic!

Karima is wonderful to take classes from! I learned a ton from our lesson. She is very friendly and knows how to adjust to the level I need. I definitely recommend her!

Karima is so nice!
She is really focused and looks what you need.
She i flexibel, she can do lessons, but if I just want to talk, then we do that and then she sends the voculabury afterwards.

I had a wonderful lesson with Karima! She gives lots of examples and breaks down phrases and concepts. I'm learning a lot and look forward to more classes with her. Shukran bzzeff, Karima! :)

I have done 5 lessons with Karima now and really enjoying them. She is great at preparing resources before the class that we can then use as a basis for our conversations as well as exploring the sometimes complex grammar of Darija. She is very patient and cannot recommend her enough!
