I live in the Johannesburg region of sunny South Africa. I speak Afrikaans and English, with Afrikaans being my native language. I enjoy the outdoors, love animals, and enjoy taking long walks. I enjoy spending time with people, but also like spending time by myself, reading books, and watching movies, especially documentaries.عني كمعلّم
My best personality trait is that I can make people feel at ease. With my computer teaching background, I worked with children and adults, and I can adapt to working with different personality types and age groups.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I offer three types of lessons - Conversational practice, General/Structured Afrikaans & Children's Lessons.
Conversational - I aim to improve your spoken Afrikaans and practice Afrikaans conversation and communication skills by talking about what you like and what your interests are.
General/Structured Afrikaans is more formal with structured lessons and focuses on writing, reading, and listening skills as well as grammar, spelling, vocabulary, sentence constructions, etc.
Kids : I offer conversational practice or general/structured lessons, as above, but include more activities, like games, songs, videos, drawing & art.

Awesome teacher !!! Ms .Annelise has helped and supported me throughout my journey of learning Afrikaans . Highly recommend her . She also is very supportive and very knowledgeable in teaching and helping with grammar as well.

Annalise is really good at getting me to pronounce well and get started in an immersive setting - only speaking Afrikaans. I'm a beginner, but she has been well prepared to increase the the learning speed as needed. I find her easy to work with and am very happy with the progress.
