Hi everyone, my name is Phuong, and I'm a native Vietnamese can speak with Northern and South Vietnamese accents. Now I'm living in Ho Chi Minh City and my parents were born in Central Vietnam, so if you have interested to know about different cultures and people in Vietnam, we can talk about pretty much anything, I'm a good listener and hope to have opportunities to share with you guys anything interesting I know. Currently, I am also learning a new language, Chinese, so I understand very well what learners need from a teacher. As a language teacher in italki, I hope to contribute my part to support those who are eager to learn new languages, like me. Have a nice day! Thank you!

عني كمعلّم

I am a patient and cheerful person, I always try to make class most comfortable for my student so that they can be confident to express what they want to say in Vietnamese. I guarantee that you'll always have a nice and dedicated lesson with me. I'd like to bring enthusiasm to each class and really listen to the needs of each student.

دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي

The lessons will be flexible and customized based on the level of the students. The main goal of the class is to increase reflexes when communicating in Vietnamese. 2 classes for you: - You select a topic or send me vocabularies that you have studied, I will plan speaking exercises in order that you can review your vocabs). - I will select a subject depending on your level: focus on subjects connected to daily life that Vietnamese people frequently discuss with one another. I will fix your mistakes so that they seem natural and native-like. After each lesson, I will send you copies of the lesson by email or share via Google Docs, so you can review them at any time.

I can't say enough good things about my teacher, Phoung. She's talented, smart, and really has an intuitive approach that is both unique and helpful. I really enjoy our sessions, but most of all I really enjoy that she has made me love to learn Vietnamese even more. Thanks Phuong. I look forward to our next session.

Phuong is a very good teacher. She taught me a lot about the "unspoken" etiquette of Vietnamese culture and the proper ways of interacting with Vietnamese people. I enjoyed the lesson very much.

I had an excellent 30-minute introductory session. She conducted the entire lesson in Vietnamese, which really helped assess my current skill level and challenged me to step up. She provided a supportive platform where I could confidently practice speaking, and her approach was both engaging and encouraging.
