My name is Jolene and I come from the beautiful country of South Africa. English is my native language, and I can also speak some Afrikaans and a little bit of isiZulu. I am currently studying towards a Bachelors Degree majoring in English and Linguistics, and this will better help me in tutoring in English. I enjoy learning new skills, and have recently started crocheting. I love the outdoors and spend a lot of time taking walks in parks, on the beach, and on nature trails. I love animals and I especially love meeting new people. I enjoy reading, watching series and I love yoga.عني كمعلّم

I will bring patience, adaptability, and a personalised approach to my teaching. I am a firm believer in the importance of interactive and dynamic lessons. I will use a variety of teaching materials, including flashcards, pictures, articles, and games, to make the lessons interesting and to cater to different learning preferences. These tools help break down complex concepts into manageable chunks, making it easier for students to grasp and retain new information.
