Hello! I'm Jessica Rebekah, born and raised in South Africa and now living in New Zealand. I love teaching, and it makes me happy to see people improving their English.
I have also taught myself Hebrew so I can completely understand what it is like to learn a foreign language. It's taken a lot of dedication and time, but I have experienced a lot of joy and satisfaction in my language learning journey, and that is how it should be.عني كمعلّم
I have been helping people with English online around the world since 2014, focusing on conversational, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and reading skills. I have a TEFL certificate (Teaching English to Foreign Learners).
Learning English should be enjoyable. There may be days when you might feel discouraged or unmotivated, but that should never stop you from achieving your dream.
Important to note - I teach my students with respect and courtesy and appreciate it when they treat me the same.
I believe in teaching you to expand your vocabulary and communicate appropriately in English so please no swearing or dirty words.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
Based on what is best for each of my students I use a variety of teaching methods, materials, and personal experience.
Every person learns differently and is gifted in their own unique ways so whether you are a fast or slow learner if you're determined, you will learn! I'm patient and understanding with my students.
In all of my lessons, there will be grammar and pronunciation corrections - It's okay to make mistakes because that is part of learning but we don't want to create bad habits.
I like to understand my students' strengths and weaknesses so that I can help you with your language needs.

Jessica is very nice and patient! I like the way she corrects my mistakes promptly and gently. She is the right person to converse with. I don't feel time passing while talking with her. Highly recommended!

Jessica is an excellent teacher and very pleasant to talk with her about any topic.
Corrects when necessary or gives half-sentences that help me sound more understandable, after a while, I have a lot of words in the chat that I can practice.

Before Jessica's Christmas break, I had a wonderful lesson with her. She listened to me very patiently and corrected me all the time. I learned a lot about New Zealanders in today's lesson, which was very interesting. I would like to visit this beautiful country in the future.

"The best way out of a difficulty is through it"
I need to improve my conversational skills, actually, I can't speak freely and sometimes I forget words during conversation.
But Jessica is a very patient teacher, she helped me and corrected my mistakes. I feel that step by step in the future things are going to be better.
