Hi, my name is Alena! I was born and raised in Russia, in the beautiful and my favorite city - Yekaterinburg. During my university years, I traveled abroad to work. I worked in China and America. It was an incredible experience, which I wish everyone to experience.
I adore traveling, I have always been drawn by my interest and love for other cultures. For the past year, I have been living and studying in the wonderful student city of Bologna in Italy. Italy is the country that fills me with a sea of emotions and positive impressions! I love to communicate with foreigners and exchange cultural values.عني كمعلّم
My love for teaching has been with me since I was a little girl, when I played teacher every day, giving lessons to fictional students, checking their homework and giving grades. My dad always said that teaching was my destiny. When I enrolled in the pedagogical university and began teaching, I became convinced of it. And now, after 6 years, I am delighted by the success of my students who achieve great results!
I have 7 years of teaching experience. I started my teaching career in language centers, but since 2018, I have fully dedicated myself to working online.
Working as a teacher in China has opened up new ways for me to teach a lesson without using the intermediary language.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
The main component of my classes is processing speaking skills and removing fears and barriers. After all, communication is the main and integral part of our lives.
In my lessons, I use:
1. Zoom
2. Miro board (a whiteboard where all lessons are stored; you can revisit any lesson at any time to review the material)
3. Edvibe (an interactive platform for homework assignments)
4. Quizlet (a platform for engaging memorization of new words)
