Hello! My name is Mapalo, and I am a native Sesotho speaker from Lesotho. I have a university degree in teaching English and Sesotho. Teaching is my passion, and over the years, I have had the privilege of helping students from various backgrounds improve their language skills. I particularly enjoy introducing others to the beauty and nuances of Sesotho and English, languages rich in culture and history.عني كمعلّم
As a teacher, I bring over two years of professional teaching experience to every lesson. I have taught English and Sesotho to learners from diverse backgrounds, including Americans and Germans, tailoring my approach to their unique needs and learning goals. Sesotho TeacherI had the rewarding experience of teaching Sesotho to Americans and Germans, introducing them to the Sesotho's unique structures and cultural richness. It was exciting to watch my students go from curious beginners to confident speakers, able to engage in meaningful conversations. I tailored lessons to their individual goals, making learning both practical and enjoyable, while fostering a deep appreciation for Sesotho culture.

It was a great first lesson. We went through pronunciation of Sesotho sounds and even started to form sentences. Mapalo encouraged me throughout the lesson and I learnt a lot!
