I'm Rin, a bilingual Japanese/ calligraphy tutor.
I enjoy baking, watching sitcoms,and solo-traveling. I'd love to learn about your country!🥐✈️🎬
Born and raised in Japan(Yokohama) but I've also lived in the States (New Jersey)for 6 years. I also work at a guesthouse in Saitama prefecture.
I'm confident that I can use my English skills wisely when teaching you Japanese:)

Great lesson! Rin sensei is very good at explaining vocabulary!

Rin was very patient and facilitated conversation despite my limited ability. As we spoke, she would jot down new vocabulary and display it so it was visible but not disrupt the flow of conversation. Rin's fluency in English made it easier to get through the language hurdles, would particularly recommend her for beginner to intermediate learners looking to build vocabulary and practice conversation.

Rin-san has been one of the most uplifting teacher of Japanese I have ever had the pleasure to interact with! She made the class flow and was very accomodating with the topics I wanted to discuss or ask about. She makes the the whole process super simple and seamless. I can't recommend her enough! Good experience with Rin. What I've noticed is that after a few sessions, she will cater her word and grammar choice to what you've demonstrated knowledge of, and then introduce new words consistently. Great method for intermediate speakers.

Great Lesson , Rin is really good at differentiating vocabulary so it makes sense in a practical way.
