Hello!
I’m Jay, a Korean teacher to help you learn Korean in an enjoyable and comfortable way.
I was born in Korea and, after graduating from university, I lived in various countries such as Malta, the U.S., and India for over 6 years.
I am currently residing in Malaysia. Through these experiences, I’ve learned to understand and respect the diversity of languages, cultures, and religions across different countries.
With a bright and sociable personality, I’m always curious about new cultures and foods, and I enjoy traveling.
As a Korean teacher, I take great pride in the Korean language and culture, and my goal is to teach Korean in a way that is easy and practical for everyday use.عني كمعلّم
1. With degrees in Korean as a Foreign Language (with teaching certification) and English
Literature, I can conduct lessons in English if requested by students.
2. I have experience as a weekend instructor at the Korean School.
3. I have 13 years of work experience at a British financial company and have taught business
Korean to Indian employees at a Korean company in India.
4. I have conducted online Korean lessons for children from multicultural families.
5. I have led Korean storybook reading sessions and cultural experience classes (such as fan
dancing, making gimbap, and songpyeon) for elementary students at international schools in

My lessons are tailored to each student's level and needs, using a customized curriculum.
I primarily use Sejong Institute textbooks, focusing on simple grammar necessary for conversation and conducting speaking-oriented lessons.
I incorporate various content, such as K-Dramas and shorts, to make learning Korean enjoyable and practical. I also teach key expressions and vocabulary needed for discussions and provide ample opportunities for students to speak. I emphasize accurate pronunciation and intonation in Standard Korean. Instead of focusing on correcting grammatical errors, I improve speaking skills through sentence pattern practice, role plays, and simulations.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

Just wanted to take a moment and say I really like Jay's lessons. She puts a lot of effort into presenting her own original materials and being responsive to my level. She also provides great feedback and homework, and is really easy and comfortable to talk with. I highly recommend her lessons!

I have attended a few lessons with Jay 선생님. She is patient and encouraging. She prepares good, detailed materials for each lesson and provides clear explanations for new grammar, vocabulary. I enjoy my lessons with her.
