Hello! I'm Julieta, a passionate Spanish teacher from Colombia. Originally from Medellín, but now living in Bogotá, I love exploring my country’s breathtaking natural beauty and sharing these unique experiences with my students.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me staying active, spending time with my family and my dog, or in the kitchen, experimenting with new recipes and cooking delicious dishes from around the world.
I studied Linguistics at the National University of Colombia, and I’m passionate about learning new languages and discovering different cultures through the magic of language. Let’s explore the world of Spanish together!عني كمعلّم
As a teacher, I’m known for my flexibility and my ability to adapt to the individual pace and needs of each student. Whether your focus is on improving conversation skills, reviewing grammar, or diving into a specific book, I tailor each lesson to what you want to achieve.
I also believe that understanding a language goes hand in hand with understanding its culture, so I always include insights into Hispanic culture in my classes. In my lessons, I start with a quick review of the most important vocabulary before diving into practice. I believe it’s essential to mix theory with real-life situations so that you can see how everything connects and applies in the real world. I also make sure to use topics and examples that match your interests, whether it’s sports, movies, food, or business.
I’m very patient and adapt to each person’s pace, so there’s no need to feel pressured or nervous. Remember, mistakes are just stepping stones to reaching your goals!
