Kana

Reading a short story with Kana-sensei was an absolute pleasure. She's incredibly engaging and always quick to provide creative materials that are just right for the lesson. Reading is a great way to expand your vocabulary and improve comprehension and writing skills, and I'm always full of little questions about grammar or cultural references when I read by myself. Kana-sensei answered all of my questions patiently and clearly. I'm also excited to check out the other intriguing stories she recommended. I'm already looking forward to our next lesson! 今日はかな先生と一緒に本を読んで、ストーリーについて会話するのがとても楽しかったです。独学で本を読むと、文法や文化的な背景についていつも疑問がわいてくるのですが、丁寧に答えてくださってとても勉強になりました。興味深いホラーの本もおすすめしていただき、ありがとうございました。来週のレッスンも楽しみにしています！

Information was very clear and thorough. Lesson was very fun and informative. Teacher really encouraged me to learn!

Simply put, the teacher was completely different from her introduction video. She didn’t smile at all and looked irritated, like she was dealing with personal issues. Also, when I asked about vocabulary I didn’t know, her explanations were shallow and lacked depth. That’s why I left the class halfway. Highly not recommended.

Speaking with Kana-san lets me use vocabulary that I have learned, but rarely use in daily life. Also while speaking I realize my weak points in speaking like grammar mistakes, or some expressions or grammar points I don't how to use properly. It is still hard for me but maybe if I speak more, the words and expression will be easier to remember and use.
