Hello!
I'm from Australia but currently live in the United Kingdom. I am qualified to teach English as a foreign language to adults.
I enjoy cooking, travelling, exploring different cultures, and learning languages. I'm happy to discuss my hobbies and interests with my students. Some other interests include history, philosophy, books, music, psychology, health and fitness, skincare, fashion, art, technology, sociology, and anthropology.عني كمعلّم
I have extensive professional teaching experience. In 2020, I completed the CELTA certificate, though I began my ESL career in 2009 after completing a TESOL certificate and starting to teach English both online and in-person. I have taught at language schools in the UK and Australia. I also hold a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in philosophy.
I am comfortable teaching students at all levels. I am patient with beginners and can effectively challenge advanced speakers to continue learning and improving. I love helping students achieve their language goals, whatever they may be. Additionally, I have experience in proofreading and copy-editing for both academic and business purposes.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My teaching style is open, friendly and patient. I really encourage my students to speak.
In my 'Natural Conversation Speaking' classes, we can talk about whatever you want or I can offer suggestions to get the conversation started and keep it flowing. I really encourage you to speak and to have a natural as possible conversation, regardless of your level.
I also offer various types of structured, professional lessons and plans. Please see their descriptions for further information. Professional lessons can include homework, if you want it.
I always try to offer feedback, corrections, and ways to improve.

As an introvert person I must say, sometimes is uneasy to find connections with you teacher and talk. However, Kathy has a gift to make you feel comfortable. Every class is excellent, full of new vocabulary, full of questions that make you think about. After finishing a class I feel satisfied with the conversation. Thanks Kathy.
