My name is Zoila García. I was born in Guatemala, the fourth of eight children. I like to walk, read, cook and to get to know new cultures. I speak a good amount of English. I have a bachelor's degree in Law and Social Sciences and was the first woman in my village to graduate from university.عني كمعلّم

I focus on real-life applications of Spanish. I can help you with grammar, homework, vocabulary, conversation, writing practice and anything else you might need. My schedule is open and flexible. I have experience teaching all levels of Spanish from beginners to intermediates to advanced students.

I had another wonderful lesson with Zoila! I love all parts of our lessons, both conversations and grammar. And I can't think of anyone I'd rather learn the subjunctive from than Zoila!

The hour with Zoila flew by, as it always does. It was the perfect combination of conversation, homework review, and in-class practice. Zoila's calm, patient and accepting manner always puts me at ease--even when studying the subjunctive! She is an exceptional teacher.
