▪️ My schedule also works on demand. This means that if you can ask me for a specific slot and I'll try to open it for you. No compromises! Just ask.
▪️ I love working with the language of my students' specific fields. I learn a lot every time. Let's all remember nobody is ever finished learning, and all of us can learn from each other. Yes, even teachers.
▪️ I'm finishing my 🌐 translation degree at FaHCE, UNLP (La Plata, Argentina). I'm most interested in legal translation and translation in the social sciences and humanities.

▪️ I can teach both kids 👧🏽 and adults 🧔🏻, from beginners to advanced students, both in-place and online.
▪️ "Educate" means pretty much "to take or guide someone OUT and FURTHER." Think of education as an infinite field or road 🛣. An educator's role is to get you going towards that endless horizon, because you can always go further. You can always learn more. This implies that my role is basically finding a way to keep you going. Also, education is about becoming MORE CAPABLE AND INDEPENDENT every time. 1) Intro,
2) Content, and
3) Conclusion. ⚠️ We'll always use the last 10 minutes to write a record and give you homework.

I have translated mostly legal texts (birth, death, and marriage certificates, divorce judgments, contracts, education documents and diplomas, etc.), technical and scientific texts (in hard sciences, social sciences, and the humanities), and some literary texts (from different authors from English-speaking countries). Legal translation is my top specialty.

Tomás is a very good teacher. He is intelligent, kind, and encouraging. I like his willingness to help me improve within the structure of discussing topics that interest me, and I like his way of correcting the things I write. My Spanish is improving from working with him. It’s satisfying to get results from fun lessons which I always look forward to. His fluency in English is useful as well. I’d suggest working with Tomás on Spanish or English to anyone, but I can especially recommend his Spanish lessons to native English speakers.

Tomas is a nice and considerate teacher. The enjoyment of taking his classes goes beyond language learing and what impresses me more is his insightful opinions on multiple deep topics we discussed, such as education, gender issues, political problems and self-image. Tomás was very polite and friendly. He seemed to adapt himself to my level, giving me enough time to think and express my opinions, while still giving me relevant feedback when it came to vocabulary or more natural ways of expressing myself.
