I am a Mexican linguist with a master's degree in Hispanic Linguistics. I like talking, reading (especially literature), and meeting new people. I also love learning other languages — I can speak English, French, and Portuguese. Hola, mi nombre es Luis Arturo y me encantaría ser tu profesor de español. Soy un lingüista mexicano. Me gusta conversar, leer (especialmente literatura) y conocer nuevas personas. También me encanta aprender otras lenguas, de hecho puedo comunicarme en francés, en inglés y en portugués.

Luis Arturo has been helping our 3 kids learn spanish (10, 8, and 5). They always look forward to their next session, and have grown in their understanding and vocabulary as we practice at home. Would highly recommend.

Luis is a knowledgeable linguist and a great teacher. I have been taking lessons with him twice a week for over a year, and have improved to the point where our classes are now almost entirely in Spanish. He is easy to talk with, and corrects my mistakes clearly and patiently. Luis offers a variety of instructional materials, and tailors both lessons and homework to my interests. He is a professional, always polite and on time. I highly recommend Luis as your Spanish teacher.

He asks if I have questions and I think that's cool because then I have a good amount of time to speak and even if I don't have questions, I can still comment on the topic.

I’ve taken classes with Luis for the past few years and can confidently say you won’t find a better Spanish professor. Luis is very knowledgeable of the Spanish language and very passionate about teaching the language. He goes the extra yard to ensure that you have everything you need to succeed.
