Hello! I am Luis Arturo and I would like to be your Spanish teacher. I am a Mexican linguist with a master's degree in Hispanic Linguistics. I like talking, reading (especially literature), and meeting new people. I also love learning other languages — I can speak English, French, and Portuguese.

I specialize in grammar and teaching Spanish as a second language. I have more than four years of experience giving private and group lessons to adults and children of all levels. I really enjoy teaching Spanish and try to ensure that my students have fun while they learn.
Cuento con una Maestría en Lingüística Hispánica y me especializo en entender y explicar cómo funciona la lengua española. Tengo más de cuatro años de experiencia impartiendo clases privadas y grupales para niños, jóvenes y adultos de todos los niveles. My classes have a conversational approach and are prepared according to your needs. Each class, we usually review a specific topic (ex. grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation), and then practice it through conversational exercises.
Mis clases tienen un enfoque comunicativo y siempre las preparo de acuerdo con tus necesidades. Luis is a knowledgeable linguist and a great teacher. I have been taking lessons with him twice a week for over a year, and have improved to the point where our classes are now almost entirely in Spanish. He is easy to talk with, and corrects my mistakes clearly and patiently. Luis offers a variety of instructional materials, and tailors both lessons and homework to my interests. He is a professional, always polite and on time. I highly recommend Luis as your Spanish teacher.
