Angela Munari

Angela is a truly excellent teacher - she takes time to get to know you, tailors the lessons to your strengths and development areas, and without fail she makes each lesson interesting, memorable and fun. Before learning with Angela, I'd done a few group classes (including an intensive course in Perugia). When it came to practising speaking, there was never much time in the group to try and improve (particularly for one of the less confident and more reserved people in the group as I often was!) and I was becoming increasingly frustrated that I never seemed to make much progress with the spoken language. This all changed when I started lessons with Angela. I've really improved my confidence and I have much more opportunity to improve in a single lesson than I ever got in a term's worth of classes. If you're in a similar position to me, then I absolutely recommend you start lessons with Angela - you won't regret it!

It's been over two years since my last "English" review of lessons with Angela and I can honestly say that all the things I raved about then are still happening. My ability has obviously improved, but the exercises and content produced by Angela have keep a perfect pace. I always come out of her lessons having learned at least a couple of new concepts. The key things for me now are stretching my vocabulary and having more fluent conversations, and Angela focuses on these with her usual creativity and structured approach. She has a real interest in her students as people, and tailors my lessons around current events in my life and topical events in general. If you find Angela on italki, choose her and you will never look back. The effort she puts into her teaching is amazing, and she is always ready to go that extra mile for her students.

Mi ha molto piacuto la prima lezione con Angela. Abbiamo parlato un po di tutto. Il più importante, però, è come lavora Angela con il studente. Penso che sia una insegnante ottimo. Spero che faccio un percorso lungo con lei... (un punto molto importante: lei ha una buona connessione internet, per le lezione virtuale è assolutamente necessario)

Adoro le lezioni di italiano con Angela. È molto gentile, professionale e sempre preparata per le lezioni. La lezione è condotta in modo interessante, i materiali sono ottimi e diversi. Puoi parlare con Angela di tutto, grazie a questo il lessico si svilippa rapidamente. Mi piace molto come Angela aggiunge elementi grammaticali nei materiali. consiglio con tutto il cuore.

Another great lesson today. After a casual, comfortable chat we discussed some aspects of shopping where I learned a lot of new vocabulary. I always feel encouraged to speak and we work on my areas of improvement together.
