Hola, I’m Marilyn, I'm Mexican and I live in Mexico City. I was born and raised in Mexico City the second largest city in Latin America, and the largest Spanish-speaking city in the world.
I'm experienced in Spanish Conversation over 4 years. During my experience I’ve taught adults, teenagers and children from all over the globe to learn to communicate in Spanish from zero to advanced level in a wide repertoire of settings.
Whether you are a beginner or advanced student, I will help you reach your goal through conversation, grammar-vocabulary lessons and lots of patience!عني كمعلّم
I’m a relaxed, happy and patient tutor with a Mexican accent(most of my students say my accent is clear and easy to understand).
I am always careful to introduce sounds and associate words and actions in Spanish.
I’m a bilingual tutor who can teach the hard parts of Spanish in English(if required) however most of the time we will be communicating in Spanish.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي

Wow. Just finished two 30 minute sessions with Marilyn and feel on top of the world. She is extremely patient, interesting and very helpful when explaining new words/phrases. I have an entire page of new words to practice from the session and can't wait to meet again.

Great lesson with Marilyn! We talked about a number of topics. Marilyn had prepared some questions about "my first time doing...". When I got stuck and wasn't sure how to say something in Spanish, Marilyn would help me out. She also asked questions about my experience. Marilyn is good to talk to - we had a lot of fun in the lesson!

I started taking classes with Marilyn a little over a year ago, and its easily the best step I've taken to further my Spanish learning journey. She keeps the conversation flowing comfortably, helps me when I'm lost or confused, and always makes me push my limits. She is well-traveled, knowledgeable, and incredibly good-natured. In my humble opinion, is the best on iTalki. Highly, highly recommended.

Great lesson with Marilyn! Marilyn had several questions prepared for class. The questions were good conversation starters like "would you rather read a book or watch a movie, and why?". Marilyn helped me if I used a wrong word, or gave the Spanish word if I didn't know it. The lesson was fun and interesting!

Great lesson with Marilyn! Marilyn suggested several topics of conversation, and we had an interesting discussion about "my last birthday" and "road trips". Marilyn was good at helping me out when I didn't have the right words in Spanish, or when a different word would be more natural!
