Hi there! My name is Luke and I am currently living in the United Kingdom. I am a dual citizen of both Canada and the US. I have lived in many interesting places, including New Jersey, New England, Chicago, Toronto, Colorado, Hawaii, and Seattle. I work as a locum speech and language therapist, moving around to different parts of the UK and exploring my new surroundings. Things I love to talk about include but are not limited to travel (travel tips for Europe appreciated!), but also other languages (I have some background in French, Spanish, Italian, Irish, and Japanese) and the great outdoors (hiking, scenic drives, city exploring).

With training that includes undergraduate study in Linguistics, graduate study in Speech-Language Pathology, and additional certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, I have the background necessary to assist you in your journey of becoming more confident in your English-speaking skills. I am competent in the subtle differences in pronunciation and vocabulary for the United States and Canada.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I can tailor my lessons to your needs. Our focus can be more general or specific depending on what you would like from your English lessons. Because of my education, I am not your typical English teacher. Other English lessons may only focus on vocabulary and grammar, but this leaves out other important areas of English that I can assist you with, such as pronunciation and stress/intonation patterns.
This can be provided based on however you are most comfortable, whether that be structured drills and practice, or less structured conversational practice. I am happy to work with you regarding how lessons are structured based on your learning style.
