My conversations with Lorena are the highlight of my week. She is an excellent teacher and conversation partner.

So wonderful speaking with Lorena. We can talk about current events, life, language, anything. She's very easy and fun to chat with!

Another fun lesson with Lorena talking about getting older and taking care of your body, different types of exercises, and the benefits of moving vs sitting all day. Always such a pleasure learning and chatting with Lorena!

Lorena always brings material to the lesson that is outside my normal channels of reading. This is great for expanding my vocabulary and forcing me to express myself with vocabulary I already have to make myself understood. I really appreciate that.

Another fantastic lesson with Lorena is in the books! She’s incredibly kind and patient. I also love that when I don’t know a word in Spanish, rather than translate the word immediately to English, she explains the word in Spanish until it clicks in my brain. I feel super accomplished and proud of myself after every lesson with her. Thank you so very much Lorena!

Another wonderful lesson with Lorena talking about how some people always get sick while others are lucky and never do, not having time as an adult, and the importance of fewer but closer friends in adulthood. It’s always a great conversation with Lorena. She’s a great listener who always provides helpful notes and feedback to keep you progressing!
