Hi, I’m Duran.
I’m originally from London but spent most of my life growing up in Canterbury, Kent. After completing my studies, I moved to Asia, where I taught English to students of all ages, from kindergarten to adults.
I love exploring new cultures and travelling with my family, and I can’t wait to learn more about your language goals.

I’m passionate about teaching and have had the chance to work in Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and China. Over the years, I’ve become a patient, culturally aware teacher with a unique teaching style. My lessons are fun, enthusiastic, and engaging.
Good preparation and time management are key to great lessons, and I always bring these to class. With experience teaching so many students online, I’m ready to help you improve your English. Let’s learn together!

In my classes, I like to use visual effects, pictures, audio, and video, depending on the course and type of lesson. Materials are custom-made for specialist courses; pronunciation and accent reduction, while IELTS, PET, and Cambridge courses follow a structured curriculum based on the course syllabus.
With specialist training in ELT (BA), IELTS and TOEFL Test Prep, and TEFL/TESOL/TEYL, I was honoured to be recognized among the top 10 global teachers for one of Asia’s leading online teaching companies. You will be excited to learn more in my classes.
