Hi, my name is Daniel. I am a family man from the East of England. I am a professional English Teacher and I also do freelance work in marketing and sales.
My interests and hobbies include playing the bass guitar, singing, listening to music, boxing, working out, self development, dancing salsa, walking/hiking, animals (I have six cats and six dogs, all rescued) and nature in general.
Apart from my own interests, I enjoy talking about my student's interests and hobbies and meeting people from around the world and learning about other countries and cultures. :-)عني كمعلّم

I specialise in Speaking Practice, Job Interviews, IELTS Speaking & University Interviews.
I have 13 years teaching experience. I have been teaching here on Italki since 2016 and have given over 11,700 lessons to people from over 100 countries.

I offer four types of lessons. If you click on the lesson you are interested in (underneath English Lessons) you can read more information about it and how I can help you.
I use Zoom (with full subscription) and Google Meet. People in China, I also have Tencent Meeting.
All lessons start on the hour.
I do not teach children or teenagers under 16 years old, sorry.
Lessons and materials are adapted to your specific needs and objectives.
I realise that you are probably busy with work and family and stuff so I believe lessons should be as fun and productive as possible. English should be something you look forward to! :-)

Daniel is a great teacher. One of the best I've ever had in italki. He is a very experienced teacher and always very well prepared. Patient, engaging, positive and always give me timely feedback. I had many lessons with Daniel and we had great discussion on lots of topics. I feel my English improved a lot under his help. Daniel is a fantastic teacher: Patient, attentive, engaging, and with a sense of humor which I really appreciate! I’ve learned a great lot since I started to have lessons with him, and I always look forward to speaking with him. It never feels like work - it’s more like talking with a good friend than with a teacher. My speaking confidence and fluency have reached a stage that I didn’t dare to dream of when I started conversation training with Daniel – and all this within a short period of time!
