Hello, thank you for coming to my teaching profile :) I am from a trained English language and School teacher the U.K and have worked both in schools and online for a number of years. Currently I am qualified to teach lessons which follow the National British Curriculum both in primary and secondary education. Aside from National Teaching I also have a CELTA qualification and have taught English as a foreign language to both adults and children for many years. Regarding examinations preparation, I have undergone training in Cambridge Assessment English examinations and also in IELTS teacher tranining. I really enjoy teaching and helping my students reach their goals and objectives.عني كمعلّم
My lessons aim to make students feel as confident as possible in their target language whilst also enjoying a relaxed learning environment. Lessons are tailored to students' needs and requirements and regular feedback and homework assignments are given. I am a strong advocate for linguistic immersion in the target language so students who work with me tend to increase their fluency very quickly.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
Prior to starting I will be in contact in order to find out if you have any specific learning goals or requirements which you would like to focus on in class. Our first lesson will then focus on assessing your lesson and deciding together what the next steps will be on your language learning journey. I currently offer the following courses:

Katharine's lessons are so dynamic that time flies and you regret not having booked a 1,5h class. She prepares good materials to keep the class interesting, along with effective activities to encourage you to speak and actively participate. If it is something you appreciate, on many occasions she may also ask you to choose the topic of the lesson.
Something I totally enjoyed is have the chance to discuss topics in-depth so that I could learn and use some advanced vocabulary, which is not often the case when you hang out with foreign friends.
I'll cross my fingers for the Cambridge exam!

I was totally desperate for my English when I started taking lessons with Katie.
Now, I feel the confidence (I still have mistake though), I've progressed a lot in the past three months. I really have.
I don't hesitate when I have to speak with foreign people, I can attend meetings and share opinion on different topics.
I don't see the IELTS exam as a monster anymore, but as a bridge to more oppurtinities in the world. It's all thanks to Katie, and her teaching style. Thank you for having me as a student! :)
