IELTS Train the Trainer - British Council, Kolkata - 2016I attended an 18-hour workshop under the IELTS Train the Trainer program organised by the British Council, Kolkata. It was in an intensive workshop that thoroughly versed me with the salient features of providing Exam Prep training to students, including techniques and resources. This enables me to train students for IELTS and other exams like SAT, GRE and GMAT. I also have a First-Class Master's Degree in English. I highly recommend Kusumika as a teacher. Her classes are intensive, interactive, and dynamic. She is knowledgeable, professional and flexible. She is kind yet firm and her lessons have a good balance of grammar, speaking, listening, reading and writing. I also love her creative homework assignments. I have made great progress in the month that I have been seeing her to work on my Hindi. I look forward to our next lesson!

Kusumika is an extremely good teacher and I am very lucky to have her as my tutor. She very frequently tailors lesson to focus on things I am struggling with. She is supportive when I make mistakes but firm that they need to be corrected. Overall a very good teacher and I have learned more in a dozen lessons with her than I did in a whole year of taking Spanish in school.

I rarely give bad reviews to teachers, but this was a really bad course experience. The teacher is impatient. During the course, the teacher was distracted and was obviously doing other things while teaching. She was even amused by other things. In short, she is a very irresponsible teacher.
