Hello, everyone!
My name is Diego I'm 38 years old and I'm from Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. I've been teaching Portuguese on italki since 2020 to many students around the world.
I graduated in System Analysis in 2007, I've been working as a System Architect since 2011 in a federal company in Rio.
I'm very patient, friendly and passionate about teach people.
I'm able to talk about everything you want to such as politics, culture, language, daylife and etc.

I'm very patient and my goal is help my students to improve their skills in Portuguese. We can use a lot of materials and discuss topics related to Brazil or your country.
I'm able to give you some grammar tips during our conversation, so even if it's not the focus I can help you with grammar.

My classes are focused on conversation. Like I said on the last topic, I can help you with some grammar tips but it's not the focus, because you have to learn Portuguese of a natural way (talking and listening).

Adoro falar com Diego. Ele é melhor professor de português e ótimo parceiro pra conversar. Sempre tô ansiosa pra falar com ele. Desde que comecei fazer aulas com ele meu nível de português cresceu a beça. Graças a Diego falo português fluentemente. Com ele você pode falar de cualquier coisa, ele é pessoa convidativa, aberta, interesante e com o senso de humor. Ele é muito atento, sabe escutar e mostrar interesse em pessoa, sempre puxa um assunto pra conversar. Muito feliz por ter encontrado um professor perfeito pra mim.

Eu quero agradecer uma vez mais o Diego pela sua ajuda. Eu comecei sem falar nenhumas palavras de português e agora eu consigo me expressar sem problemas. Ele é um cara muito agradável e interessante. Em pouco tempo vou atingir 100 aulas come ele, e eu vou continuar durante muito tempo. Valeu e até à próxima !

Excellent teacher gives good instructions without interfering too much in the student’s conversation but giving all the corrections afterwards.
