I am a British Teacher, who has a passion for travelling and learning about different cultures. I am also passionate about nature and the environment. I currently have 2 cats, who often like to be present when I am teaching. If I could, I would have more animals including a dog, goats, chickens, and many more.
I am also passionate about creative arts, and like to visit galleries as well as paint and draw my own art. I also make jewellery with recycled materials. I feel my love of art has extended into my creation of teaching materials which I feel should be easy and pleasant to use.
Finally, as a resident of Berlin, Germany, I am currently learning German and am A2.1 certified level.عني كمعلّم
I am a qualified teacher with experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults face-to-face and online. I started teaching in Thailand between 2003 and 2006. I then returned to Europe and taught Business English in Italy, After this, I returned to the UK and taught English in London to all ages and levels. After meeting my husband in 2017, I moved to our present home, Berlin in Germany, where I have taught online. I am an experienced teacher of general English, Cambridge exams including IELTS, FCE, CAE, and CPE. I am also experienced at teaching business and professional topics such as CV/resume presentations and job interviews.
I have also built experience of proofreading and editing of essays for university courses and professional reports. I have successfully completed editing for documents as large as 20,000 words.
As a teacher, I am passionate about making lessons fun and relavant to each learner. I like to use a variety of materials, and often make Powerpoints with all the relevant materials. This ensures the learner has the best and most efficient presentation of the material.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

All lessons I had with Aliwyn were perfectly organized. I had a lot of communication practice. Aliwyn notices all my mistakes and explains them. Also I got lots of new vocabulary and recommendations how to sound like a native. I strongly recommend this teacher, especially if you are preparing for an exam.

I was looking for a teacher to prepare myself for the CPE exam and with Alywin I found the right one to support me in this adventure. After she provided some material we went straight into business. She was able to create a test-like atmosphere and I tried my best to cope with the tasks given to me. We discussed every task in detail afterwards and she helped me with error correction whenever it was appropriate. She also presented alternative ways to answer the question at hand, when asked, and pointed out important vocabulary for each topic we dealt with. She even noticed the slight pronunciation errors I made and corrected them. Thank you for this very educational and pleasant lesson.

Aliwyn is an amazing teacher! I've never had a teacher like her. Her classes are so fun and easy to understand. With all the different activities, like quizzes,wordwall and listening exercises, the time just flies by. I learned so much! I used to be really scared to speak up, but she helped me get over it. I'm so lucky to have her as my teacher.
