안녕하세요. 👋Hello😄 My name is Muyoung. My hometown is Busan but now I live in Seoul. I can speak both Seoul and Busan dialects well. I also used to live in Canada for a few years. I’m usually quiet and chill but I’m talkative with close friends. I’m a natural listener (INFJ).
In my free time I enjoy reading books, watching Netflix and singing in the shower. Spending time with my students is one of the highlights of my day. I like trying new things, learning about different cultures, languages and traveling. Most of all, I love to laugh and smile.

I’ve taught 3,000+ lessons to 200+ students. On average, one student took about 15 lessons with me, which is the highest number among other teachers. (Not to brag but) a lot of my regular students have taken over 100 classes. We’ve become good friends and not just the usual teacher-student relationship. So, I’m really happy about that.
I liked Korean class when I was young. I was especially good at presentations and writing. I like to talk about the differences between similar Korean expressions and grammar points by explaining their nuances. That’s why I’m a teacher of other Korean teachers.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
Our lesson will be RELAXING and FUN as if you’re talking to your friends.
Talking is fun. Talking in other languages is more fun. That’s what I want to teach you first. Those who self-study or take a group class do not have enough opportunities to speak Korean. The more you speak the quickly you get better.
I encourage my students to spend a lot of time speaking during class to increase their fluency and confidence. I’m into different cultures and traveling, so talking with you feels like traveling all over the world. I’m ready to listen to your story. If you’re shy or nervous I can carry the conversation. After more than 3 years and 300 lessons, I can say without a doubt that Muyoung has been a tremendous help in my Korean studies. He has consistently watched over my sentences; untiringly and patiently correcting my mistakes (no matter how often I make them); never spoon feeding me with grammar. Without this style of teaching, I don’t think I would have progressed the way I wanted to at all. Thank you for everything, Muyoung. It has bean interesting, learning with you. :)

Today is exactly 3 years since I first started learning Korean from Muyoung. He is my first and only Korean teacher simply because I feel so comfortable with him, his method of teaching, patience, and his calm and cheerful demeanour. He caters lessons to my needs and likes, and so, it is always a pleasure to learn from him. It was really difficult to learn Korean from scratch, but I think I am having the hang of it already.

This was my first lesson with Muyoung and I am so glad I chose him. I had already studied Korean, but I decided to find a native speaker teacher because it was always very scary and difficult to speak.
We started speaking Korean from the first minute and it was so natural, as if I was talking to a friend😊 Muyoung listened very attentively, was genuinely interested in our conversation, delicately correcting mistakes and helping. In the end, I realized that I can actually say much more than I thought and it’s not scary at all. I will definitely continue our classes. Thank you soo much for your patience and motivation 💜

It was my trial lesson with Muyoung and it was SO much fun. Muyoung has the patience of an angel and explains everything very well and calmly. I was nervous as I could not speak Korean but we started the lesson by talking in Korean and he got me out of my comfort zone. It was a wonderful lesson. Great Teacher :)
