Bowie Srisuwan 🎀

I’ve had the pleasure of taking Thai lessons with Bowie, and I highly recommend her as a language instructor! Bowie has a wonderful way of making each lesson engaging and easy to follow, even when tackling more complex topics. She is incredibly well-prepared, offers clear explanations, and always makes sure I understand before moving on. What I appreciate most is her patience and how she adjusts the pace to suit my learning needs. Each lesson feels productive and enjoyable, and I’m confident that anyone who learns from Bowie will see great progress while having a great time.

Completed the Survivor Thai Plus course with teacher Bowie. Very well structured and learned so much in such a short time. I especially like the audio recordings to listen and practice after class. Highly recommend!!

I am feeling a lot more confident to create my own sentences when talking. Bowie is really encouraging with her questions and I feel excited to try and speak, regardless of the topic :) It was really fun because I initiated some easy topics today and Bowie really helped me with my vocabulary while I was speaking :) We continued on with Unwritten ะ and I found it very easy to follow along and read our sentences :) We continued with this depending on the consonants written - Bowie explained that it can change the tone of the word. She explained it so effortlessly that I was surprised at how quickly I picked it up :) We went through multiple examples which I always appreciate too! She wrote the sentence: ฉัน จะ คอย สนับสนุน คุณ ตลอด (I will always support you) and honestly, there's no truer words :) Bowie will always support you with every word, tone and sentence you are making :) I am so thankful to have you as my teacher ^^ ขอบคุฌนากนะคะ <3

Bowie definitely makes thai language enjoyable and less confusing! She’s really helping me achieve my personal goals and takes the time to explain everything clearly ;) ขอบคุณด้วย ไว้เจอกันไหม่นะคะ

Bowie was well prepared for the lesson, having a full Google Document for how to order food at a Thai restaurant using only Thai language prepared beforehand. She is very encouraging and always says dai kha after I get something correct. I noticed she didn't prepare all the possible Thai phrases beforehand but it was well detailed enough. I would recommend preparing, "I want to pay by card." Or, "Can I have three small bowls please?" In Thai beforehand. That way, it can save some time. But maybe I learnt more by typing it in real time. I noticed the formatting in the android Google docs is very hard to read. One Thai phrase for example, was written in ten separate lines. I would recommend Bowie to reformat the Google Docs to be suitable for mobile viewing. But Bowie has Zoom Pro for a seamless connection experience for lessons and she records the audio so I got the tones correct when pronouncing the different Thai words and phrases. All in all, the best Thai teacher on italki imo.
