🌸 Healing takes place in Buddhism, and my mandarin class with you. I spend my spare time practicing this tradition which was blooming through Chinese history.
🌸 I am from Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, China. A place with 2600 years of history and where the world of "Black Myth: Wukong" takes place. I am a native Chinese Speaker, and I have studied in the United States and Australia.
🌸 I love language and culture, both Eastern and Western. Learn mandarin with me and have some the fascinating intercultural communication.

When I studied in the women's liberal arts college in the US, I have some experiences tutoring Chinese to my fellow international students from Europe, and they love their handwritten Chinese names gifted by me. At the moment, only one course is available which is related to my practice. I am very enthusiastic about Mahayana Buddhism/Chinese Buddhism/Zen Buddhism, and aspire to be a true Boddhisattva. Penny and I have been doing classes for a while, but only now have started working on a syllabus. I tend to get distracted and lose focus easily, and Penny is gently able to bring back the focus to the task at hand. I like her approach to teaching HSK and I like that she is friendly but also firm in her teaching. 10/10 would recommend!

Great lesson! I learned a lot about Chinese history and philosophy! Penny taught me some new vocabulary so we can discuss these subjects. She is very attentive to what I need and proposes me activities that can help me to progress in Chinese.

Penny is patient and prepared. She speaks very clearly, both Chinese (Mandarin) and English. This is so helpful for conversation practice. The environment is quiet. She is willing to tailor lessons to my specific learning needs.
