Hello there! My name is Mick. Thank you for checking out my profile. If you're considering learning or already learning Mandarin Chinese, and you want to find a native speaker to help you learn and brush up, then I may be the person you're looking for. I majored in English in university, and I've been using English for jobs ever since, so I can speak English fluently. I am a learner of languages myself so I know learning a language is a process, and I'd be glad to help you along the way.عني كمعلّم
I'm easy-going, detail-oriented and patient. I'm experienced as a Mandarin Chinese tutor as I started tutoring on italki back in 2011, and I know what aspects of Mandarin Chinese learners may struggle. I have the experience of tutoring HSK tests, and teaching standard Mandarin Chinese textbooks.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
• Mandarin Speech Sounds and Tones class is mainly for Mandarin Chinese beginners. Mandarin Chinese is a tonal language, so the class is all about Mandarin Chinese tones practice and correction.
• We can do role-playing and topic talk in Spoken Chinese session to practice your conversational skills. Talk about whatever that interests you in Chinese, Chinese culture, history, etc.
• Chinese Reading and Writing is for upper intermediate to advanced level learners. We can focus on vocabulary learning and sentence structure in reading and writing session.

Mick is an exceptional Mandarin Chinese teacher! He has a unique ability to make the language come alive and make the lessons both fun and informative. Spent awhile trying to learn Chinese with books and courses until found this site and met Micky. It was change like after walking for 20 kilometers finally catch a taxi. He is definitely talented teacher and linguist. Thanks Micky.

My speaking ability is still not very good but Micky always guesses what I want to say and helps me to express correctly. He is such a patient and understanding person. I have also learned a lot about the various customs and cultures of China from him, which are very, very interesting. I always look forward to his lessons.

Mick is a great teacher! He’s super friendly and patient, and very detailed in his explanations. He also made sure to speak at a speed and level of Chinese that I could understand. He provides very comprehensive material as well, which I really appreciate :)
