Hello! My name is Laia, I'm a student from Barcelona, Spain. I love reading, playing the piano and learning languages. I discovered my love for languages a few years ago, when I started learning German at school. I had studied English many years before that, but it wasn't until then that I found a way to make it fun. I'm a really curious person, and I think the best thing about language learning is that it opens new windows to you.عني كمعلّم
I started teaching English and Spanish four years ago and I really enjoy doing it. I understand why some people find the learning process boring and frustrating: it's because they always apply the same methods, their approach is academic.
Everyone likes something. If you find suitable content in your new language, something that interests you, you won't get tired after a week, and you'll always be excited to learn!دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My lessons are focused on conversation. My students can talk to me as they would to a friend, and I will correct them and help them understand their mistakes. I can also help them with grammar, written exercises or essays if they want me to.
When we're finished, I encourage my students to keep going. I like to give them recommendations: TV series or films they can watch, podcasts, books if they like reading, etc.
You shouldn't wait until you reach a certain level, but speak from the beginning. Every time you have a conversation with someone in your target language, you get better at it. Let me be that someone! (:موادي الخاصة بالتدريس
