I'm Josey from Japan! Live in Mexico and speak Japanese, English, Spanish and basic Portuguese.
I studied Law and Computer Science, also work as a Programmer.
My passion is to help students achieve their goals. Strengthen skills in speaking, listening and reading. I helped students with exams, checking HW, preparing for traveling and moving to Japan.
I like to exchange travel experiences! I traveled to 28 counties so far, I have plenty of stories to share!عني كمعلّم
I have taught Japanese in Peru, Colombia. Also taught English in a school in Mexico and Peru. Thanks to your support, I completed more than 7000 classes on italki.
I run an active and dynamic class where we can talk, and challenge a lot!

I use several materials for teaching. For instance, Genki 1&2, Tobiraとびら, Shin Kanzen, Sou Matome. Just contact me which one you want to use! Grammar, conversation, JLPT preparation.. Let me know what you want to focus on!

La clase es muy amena!!! La forma de explicar del profesor es muy entendible. Cada inicio de clase hay un repaso de lo visto previamente.

Josey is friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. He was able to quickly establish some structure for my studies on the first lesson. He kept me engaged throughout the lesson while also comfortably pushing me to test myself. His class was fun and informative. I would definitely recommend him.

Josey 先生は素晴らしかった!!! Very helpful and interactive lesson. I am pretty close to a total beginner, and Josey 先生 gave me helpful advice on creating a study plan for improving my very very basic Japanese before a planned trip. He very quickly zeroed in on my current capabilities and used gestures, repetition, and other contextual aids so we didn’t have to immediately switch back to English. Josey 先生 is very kind and helpful!

Me gustó mucho la clase. Mi objetivo era entablar un conversación y Josey san me impulsó a hablar lo más posible.
Al final me hizo recomendaciones súper útiles de las cosas que tengo que trabajar, estudiar y mejorar.
Definitivamente lo recomiendo.

I've felt my Japanese improve a lot thanks to my lessons with Josey先生, and would happily recommend him to anyone. He's very easy to talk to and has a very welcoming personality, which along with his diligent attention to my grammar, translating things, and helping find other situations where some phrase or grammar would be used, has helped me get a more through understanding of Japanese.
