Gosto gosto gosto! Simplesmente gosto das aulas com a Paola! Sempre é um imenso prazer falar com ela, e aprendo muito com ela. Durante suas aulas, nao vejo o tempo voar. Vocês nao vao se arrepender de ter aulas com ela :)

I thoroughly enjoyed my lesson with Paola, the hour passed super quickly and we were able to cover many topics from my learning goals to actual conversations in Portuguese. Paola is very encouraging and patient, she will wait for me to find my words or finish my thought before replying or offering suggestions, and she is an excellent conversation partner who makes sure I am getting the most out of our lesson. Professor Paola is helping me achieve my goals of Portuguese conversation much quicker than I could by my own independent study. Although listening to recordings, speaking out loud, and watching Portuguese videos are very helpful, the true way to grow is by actually conversing in Portuguese. Speaking to someone as gifted as Paola is even more effective with her skills of listening, guiding, and teaching me how to improve. SHE DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE. I say this after having tried several native language exchange Portuguese speakers. I have found some very kind and helpful native speakers. But, even when they are native speakers it does not mean that they have the skills to teach their own language. I have learned that speaking a language is one skill but, teaching a language is a different skill that does not happen automatically. It must be developed. My lessons with Paola are significantly more productive than any other activity I am doing to learn Portuguese.

Eu já tenho mais de um ano pegando aulas com Paola e eu disfruto muito das aulas. As aulas são muito boas por que nos temos todo tipo de conversas. Paola é muito atenta e me correge com paciência e respeito. 100% recomendável.

Professora Paola is gifted with the ability to encourage my best conversational skills while developing new ones. She can perceive what I am trying to say when I make mistakes and can recast my efforts perfectly in Portuguese. She is helping me achieve my goals of Portuguese conversation!
