Hello!
My name is Naina. I was born in Nepal and raised in the UK. Growing up as a bi-cultural child, learning about different cultures and languages has always been a fascination of mine. Therefore I am interested in meeting people from all backgrounds and cultures who share an interest in languages like I do so that we can both learn something from one another!
So if you’re interested in learning more about British culture and vernacular or even some basic Nepalese, feel free to message me :)عني كمعلّم
My intention on italki is to help you build your confidence and language skills so that you feel comfortable speaking in the target language and are able to hold conversations with natives. I am currently learning German and Norwegian therefore I know what it’s like to be a language learner and how difficult the whole learning process can be.
I can reassure you that I will listen with an understanding ear and help you to the best of my abilities to achieve your language goals.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
We will focus mainly on building conversational skills, ranging from a variety of topics, which you can decide yourself or I can lead one. However, if you would like to go through a particular grammar practice or skill e.g. reading/writing/listening, please let me know before the lesson.
Don’t worry about making mistakes and errors because that’s how we learn!

Lessons with Naina feel like spending time with a good friend. 😊 She makes me feel comfortable to laugh at my mistakes and is a great teacher! So helpful!

Thank you for the great lesson, Naina! Highly recommended, we had a great conversation that felt like it went by so quickly. She can also easily break down difficult Nepali concepts into English equivalents given that she's from the UK as well which is so helpful. Will definitely be signing up for more classes!

Thanks for an amazing session. Naina is such a kind and positive person who can make you feel completely at ease. Not only is she fun to talk to but she had also thoroughly prepared our class. Beforehand she had contacted me to get to know me and my goals in order to be able to provide me with very helpful resources I could use to prepare for our first session. Highly recommend!

Naina creates a learning atmosphere that really brings out what she has taught me. My Nepali patients are talking to me in Nepali rather than English! To say that she's a good teacher is an understatement.
