Lucía

I can't recommend Lucía enough. In my trial lesson, she ensured that she understood exactly what I wanted to achieve and by when, and she gave me a realistic schedule of lessons I would need to achieve that. My lessons fluctuate between pure grammar lessons and pure conversation lessons. Lucía makes me work hard in grammar lessons, covering all the topics that I find difficult and explaining them in a way that is easy to understand. She is also very patient with me, guiding me where needed but also giving me space to figure things out myself. My conversation lessons are my favourite! We spend the entire lesson speaking in Spanish about whatever topic comes up. Lucía helps me with unknown vocab and grammar in these lessons and uses them to guide our grammar lessons as well. The vocab I have acquired is so much more useful than set lists or topics as our conversations flow naturally, so the vocab is more applicable for me. No need to look further for a teacher as Lucía is amazing!

I have taken Lucia's classes for over a year and she is always very professional. She encourages me to speak during the conversation part of the class by asking me open ended questions. She has taken the time to learn what vocabulary is relevant to my life and job. She is patient and supportive when I am struggling to think of the words. Lucia is very knowledgeable about grammar. She explains things clearly in English or in Spanish depending on how comfortable I am with the grammar terms. She put in a lot of thought and effort to make my learning journey successful. I will continue to take classes from her

Lucía is an amazing teacher! I came to her Spanish lessons as an absolute beginner and I really appreciate her structured approach to grammar. All of the nuances of the language are explained in lots of detail and Lucía always provides extra support with follow-up tasks/homework for me to practice. I have studied many languages in the past but studying with Lucía has been a truly exceptional experience and I am super happy with the speed of my progress in Spanish.

Lucía is a wonderful teacher! She is extremely engaging and encouraging in her teaching. Learning a new language can be intimidating at the start, but i feel comfortable to make mistakes with her, and she will motivate me to try again. This helps me to remember better, and this application of language helps me to learn it well. Lucía is also very supportive and smiley, i truly enjoy every spanish class with her. Her pace is tailored to my beginner level, and i have no pressure being a new learner. Please try her lessons, you will not regret it. Another great lesson with Lucía! 🙂 In just two lessons she has helped me tremendously with the past tenses of Spanish which i was unsure of but now I am very confident. Very patient & encouraging.
