Hola! Mi nombre es Stephany Otalora, soy diseñadora de modas de profesión y vivo en Colombia. Como mi trabajo me permite ser independiente, también soy voluntaria en un programa de enseñanza dirigido a los campesinos de mi país. Me gusta la música y la naturaleza, me considero una persona sociable y me encanta conocer sobre otros países y sus culturas, por tanto, puedes verme como una tutora y amiga. I'm only three lessons in with Stephany, but I can tell I found a great tutor! She makes the conversations flow effortlessly with rarely a moment of downtime, she speaks clearly and at at pace that I can easily understand, and the classes are simply fun and enjoyable. I'm excited to continue learning with her and see how much I improve! Nos vemos :D

Another great session with Stephany! She is incredibly kind and patient. I love the way she approaches the sessions and appreciate the recommendations for podcasts/channels to improve my listening comprehension.

I want to take a moment to talk about this teacher. I've taken lessons on italki with over 100 other teachers. Stephany is the best spanish teacher on italki! By far! I cannot say enough good things about her! If you aren't taking lessons with her, you are missing out big time!

Oh my goodness, first lesson with Stephany was fantastic! It's been over one year since the last time I used Spanish so I was rusty, but Stephany was excellent from the first minute to the last. She has great tempo, uses the chat to type out corrections, repeats as needed, and has such a lively energy (which I really need in a tutor). This is the first of hopefully many future classes with her. Nos vemos!
