Hi! I'm Miss Clarke, an English teacher based in Dublin, Ireland. I've spent all my life here, so I know a lot about Irish culture and society. Aside from teaching, I love movies, art and theatre. I use my skills from these when teaching too - like close reading, clear communication and creativity!
I have experience as a language learner myself (Irish, Cantonese, French), so I have some perspective on the challenges you may face. I hope to be a supportive teacher to help you reach your goals.

I have a CELTA and a first class honours degree in English Literature and Sociology from Trinity College Dublin. I've taught professionally in Ireland, Italy and Hong Kong. I've worked primarily with young learners, but also have experience teaching adults and teenagers. I've worked with classes of 28 people, down to one-to-one classes. During the pandemic, I began working on iTalki.
I am a positive and encouraging teacher, but I also believe classes need to be goal focused to get the most out of them. I am not afraid to be strict and precise so you can learn more quickly. With young learners, I use songs, actions, flashcards, games and memory aids.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I am a flexible teacher as I have worked with various ages and abilities. I will cater class towards what you need and want to learn. I want to help you become accurate and confident in your abilities. Depending on how I assess your skills and what you want to get out of lessons, we can set goals and make classes tailored to you. I can set you homework to correct at the start of the next class, set you an article / video / song to discuss, and more if that helps your learning! Whatever way you learn best, we can find it. Usually during classes I take notes and send these on to students after to revise. This ensures that even after class, you can keep learning.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس
