My name is Alan and I am originally from the country of Mexico, I live in the state of Baja California Sur specifically in the city of La Paz which is a very touristic city, I am currently a software development engineer, in general my hobbies are watching movies and reading novels, I also have a great interest in food and culture from around the world.

I will ask you about your day to have a conversation using all the possible verb tenses, past, present, future, etc. I can also help you in general with doubts.

Like music, movies, television shows, school, culture, software, etc.
Also of more serious topics like politics, work, economy, etc.

My session with Alan was my first session on italki and it was a great experience. Alan was supportive and allowed me a second to think when I was stuck before gently correcting or offering the word I was looking for. I am still quite nervous speaking Spanish, especially since it's been a long time, so I was worried there would be a lot of awkward silence. Alan continued the conversation by asking questions that I could understand but that made me think. Definitely recommend Alan for conversational practice!

Alan is great! He’s able to speak as slowly as I need him to and he’s happy to repeat and type things out when I need a little extra help. He’s also great at subtly correcting me and teaching me how to properly speak. Thanks Alan!
