عني كمعلّم
An enthusiastic teacher with more than 15 years of experience in teaching Persian and English.
I did my MA in World Languages at the University of Utah, USA with specialization in teaching ESL and Persian.
Have earned two Praxis certificates in teaching foreign languages:
“Principles of language teaching and learning”

My pedagogical philosophy has taught me that learning Persian is an evolving process. I pay attention to the students’ learning styles, as I know every person has a different way of learning. Believing in the theory of Multiple Intelligence (MI), I choose Differentiated Instruction (DI) as my preferred way of teaching since it is a tool for planning curriculum based on each student’s individual needs. I also consider the needs of students with disabilities in my curriculum. Moreover, I make benefit of technology for the purpose of teaching and in class assessments.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

Hediye is an incredible teacher! She is so patient and helpful. She has tailored my lessons to the words/information that I need to know to communicate with family and friends. She gives me homework as well which helps me learn more throughout the week! After only 5 lessons I feel like I know so much more and I am so grateful. I highly recommend Hediye to anyone looking to learn Farsi!

Hediye is a gifted teacher with an uncanny ability to figure out exactly what level students are on, which means little wasted time re-learnijg concepts you already know or striggling through material that is too hard. Personality-wise, she is warm and personable, putting the learner at ease. Additionally, she is thorough and ensures students understand the material. I have learned so much in just a couple of months. If you want to learn Farsi, you can't go wrong with Hediye.
