Hello there, My name is Taho. I was born and raised in Japan. I worked as a medical technologist in a hospital for several years. I have lived outside of Japan for many years in various countries including the Philippines, New Zealand, Malaysia and Taiwan.

Since I have studied English myself, I know how you feel and the problems when studying a second language.
I will adjust my teaching methods to help you feel more comfortable and relaxed while studying.
私自身英語を勉強した経験がありますので、第２言語を勉強する際どんな点が大変か理解することができます。

At regular intervals, we will review your progress and place stepping stones that will lead you to achieve your language goals.
定期的にレッスン内容を振り返り、学習状況を一緒に復習しましょう。学習者の方がご自身のゴールに一歩ずつ確実に近づくよう、授業が的確なステッピングストーンとなるようデザインします。
During my time teaching, I have learnt that it is important to involve you in our lessons, talking about your self & your life while using your new grammar and vocabulary. You need to feel relaxed and to have fun, while I need to be patient and explain everything clearly.
学習者の方が実践に役立つと実感していただける授業スタイルになるよう心掛けます。新しい文法・単語を学ぶ際、ご自身に生活の中でその文法・単語を使ってどんな話ができるか共に場面を設定し、実際に使っていただきます。話の途中で訂正したりはしませんので、安心して新しい文法・単語を使うことに挑戦してください。納得していていただけるようていねいにわかりやすく説明するよう心がけます。موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

I have been learning Japanese with TAHO Sensei for a long time. Thanks to his teaching methodology, I am getting used to speaking and using Japanese. Now we start with a free conversation and continue with a detailed discussion based on Japanese video materials, I can feel I am getting more and more confident in really using Japanese. I was surprised at how broad the range of subjects Taho-sensei and I were able to discuss in a matter of an hour. It's only my second class with him, and we already discussed many interesting things.
I believe he is the sensei you are looking for if you want to 1) learn and make good progress in your communication and 2) talk about a lot of interesting things.

I've found a hidden treasure with Taho Sensei.
When I first started on italki, I saw people with more than 100 lessons with him. Now, as I approach 100 lessons with him myself, I'm sure of why.
I confident he not only does this because he has the skills, but because he truly enjoys helping people learn.
If you feel that you are terrified to speak or worried about looking like a fool (like I was), Taho will quickly make you forget that you ever felt that way!
