I’m a native Chinese speaker, and I live in Suzhou, near Shanghai
it’s a great place to visit as a tourist, and a beautiful place to live
I love learning new things, cooking, music, movies, sports,animals and nature. I also love travelling
When I find a place that I really like I will choose to stay there for a period of time
getting to know the local people, culture and lifestyle.

I have over 10 years experience teaching Chinese and english to language learners from lots of different countries
I also have a TESOL teaching certificate

I’m a very flexible teacher, so I’m very skilled at adjusting my methods to match your needs and learning style. We can use a more structured approach, systematically studying a textbook, or we could just choose a topic and discuss it together.

Yuhan lets the words flows and suggests better ways just at the right time. It feels like when I read a graded reader book somehow but in a spoken format: she readjusts the sentences complexity to push you harder while allowing the conversation the flow naturally. Students can follow and participate in the conversation (a lot of comprehensive inputs) while discovering new patterns and words. The students feel comfortable while growing and evolving. Classes are truly enjoyable.

Yuhan helps me a lot in improving my fluency in Chinese. Time flies by when we have our lessons. Big compliment for her relaxed and yet entertaining style of teaching.

My 1st lesson with Yuhan was very enjoyable. She speaks clearly, and when I had trouble understanding something in Chinese she translated it, said it again slowly, and wrote it for me. She also gave me time to think and repeat the sentences back slowly, which I appreciated. For someone like me who wants to practice and get better at forming sentences or having everyday conversations in Chinese, I would definitely recommend her!
