Hi, my name is Soňa (Sonia) and I'm from the Czech Republic and I am an experienced Czech and English tutor. I also lived and worked in UK for over 14 years and currently I am based in Central Portugal where I live on my farm surrounded by beautiful mountains. I'm learning Portuguese at the moment which is very challenging but also great fun. I'm also an artist and I have studied art and literature at university. I love books, music and films, all sorts of craft and am very passionate about sustainability and simpler ways of life.

You can rest assured my lessons will be as relaxed and fun as possible with clear directions. I prefer conversational style of teaching, where students speak as much as possible. You can choose the topic or area where you feel you need to improve (work related perhaps). I will correct your pronunciation and explain why that is so. If needed, I can provide further study materials, homework or test, you will decide. When you book a lesson with me, your Czech/English will improve in no time. Don't hesitate and contact me. Děkuji moc za krásné zajímavé lekce! Vždy to je jemně konverzovat s vámi a poznat něco nového. Bez touto praxi ještě nemohla bych mluvit. Také moc hodné a srozumitelné vysvětlení, oblehčovací učení. Je příemné se s vámi učit!
