I have been a full-time Vietnamese tutor for the past few years. Through my journey of learning foreign languages on my own, I have gained a deeper understanding of students' needs. Apart from languages, I also enjoy creating vlogs and conducting Hanoi tours. This explains why I strive to make every class more than just a lesson, but also a cultural exploration. Due to my experience working independently, I have developed self-management skills, adaptability, and creativity.عني كمعلّم
To bring my students the best classes, I have to read extensively and prepare engaging and informative lessons, particularly for students who have little knowledge of the language and culture they have chosen to study. I always make sure to incorporate cultural information alongside language learning, as I believe it is important to give my students a comprehensive understanding of the country and its people.
When a student views me as a dedicated and passionate teacher, it is one of the sweetest rewards I can receive. I'll be with my students every step of the way, monitoring the progress and providing continued support.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My teaching approach is unique and tailored to my students' backgrounds, so you won't find my lessons to be the same as those of other teachers or textbooks. I like to start by introducing new words and phrases with simple Vietnamese examples and engaging illustrations, allowing students to guess the meaning of words rather than relying on translations. I also create a variety of materials, including colourful illustrated lessons and interesting reading exercises.

Duong is a good teacher and is patient with me. And takes time to explain things. She gives me exercises for homework. This can be listening exercises or writing a short text. She puts class notes in a google doc for my later reference. She also has created a document with slides with pictures to explain words.
Sometimes uses Youtube or Google images to explanation as well. Good teacher!

Great lesson with Shinegi! We reviewed the listening exercise. I was able to hear what the correct tone was, but I made some errors in spelling. Shinegi explained the difference between ua and ưa, and between e and ê. I will need more practice to get it right. Pronunciation is challenging, but Shinegi is helping me improve step by step!

Great lesson with Shinegi! We reviewed the listening exercise I did before class. I made several mistakes, but the results were close to the correct answers. Shinegi made sentences with the words and also played some music videos featuring the words in the lyrics. It helps me understand and to hear!
