Hello, and welcome! I admire you for your goal of learning English. I’m here to help you in any way I can. Wherever you are in your learning journey, it’s my job to meet you where you are now, and help you get where you want to go.
As a native of Maryland, I speak Standard American English with a slight southern accent. I'm a college instructor and world traveler with a passion for learning about different ways of life. I can speak with you about a range of topics such as science, nature, philosophy, culture, travel, books, movies, theater, music, and TV. We learn best when we're relaxed and having fun. My teaching style is calm, gentle, and informal. I like to laugh and have fun during lessons, but most of all, I love to learn. I will learn as much from you as you will learn from me!
I’m a certified master teacher of English as a Second Language, and I’ve been helping people hone their English writing skills for 29 years. I’m also a creative writing instructor and a story developer.
