Hello, welcome to my classroom! My name is Camila, it will be a pleasure to be your teacher and help you achieve your goal.
-I have a degree in Portuguese and Japanese from the State University of Rio de Janeiro
-I specialize in teaching Portuguese as a Second Language
-I also spent a year in Europe on an exchange program to improve my English.
About me: I am a digital nomad and have some physical and online businesses, but what I love the most is being a teacher. I’m totally into travel! I’ve explored fantastic places like Thailand, Morocco, Belgium, Spain, Italy, England, the Netherlands, and France—each adventure adding a splash of excitement to my teaching!عني كمعلّم
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Português and Japanesa from the State University of Rio de Janeiro. One of the most prestigious universities in Brazil. Also I’m Certificate of extension project at the university, scientific research in the area of Portuguese as Portuguese as a Second or Foreign language (PFL).

I’m happy with my lessons with Camila! I started learning Portuguese after moving to Brazil, and thanks to her, I can already hold conversations. From the very first lesson, I felt comfortable speaking because she teaches with patience, corrects me gently, and pushes me to improve in a way that feels natural. Another excellent class with the best teacher on Italki! We discussed an interesting article on indigenous activism in Brazil. I also learned a set of new advanced vocabulary words and received timely feedback on a few challenging pronunciation words.

Camila is outstanding! She is also very outgoing, attentive, and friendly which made me feel at ease from the first second of the class. She corrected my mistakes while at the same time kept the conversation going. Plus, every now and then she wanted me to read the corrections in the chat to reinforce the right way to say them in Portuguese. Absolutely exceptional and highly recommended!
