My name is Ednah Khoza and I am a 59-year-old lady. I would describe myself as an enthusiastic lady who believes that true learning takes place through interacting with other people. I hold a Baccalaureus technologiae in Education and a certificate from the South African Council In Education. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, taking long walks and trying out new foods. I love meeting new people and I always look forward to an opportunity to learn more about the different cultures that exist in the world and as well as the different life experiences that people have.عني كمعلّم
I have past experience in which I have taught English to people of different ages and different levels. I am a professional teacher and I speak three languages. I also joined italki as a teacher during the pandemic in 2020. Hence, I understand the challenges and frustration that come with learning a new language. My teaching style is relaxed and fun because I believe that true learning takes place in a conducive environment. In my lessons, we talk, interact and most importantly make mistakes. I enjoy my lessons with Ednah. She prepares a list of words to review for every lesson and also encourages a lot of dialog so that I can ask questions. I am already learning so much in Siswati.
