Hai, Apa kabar! Thanks for stopping by. My name is Ismail, I am 27 years old and I live in Lamongan, East Java, Indonesia. I am an Indonesian tutor with more than 5 years of experience teaching non-native speakers from Australia, England, America, Japan, Turkey, Poland, and Slovakia.عني كمعلّم
I believe students should first trust their teacher in order to have a dynamic learning environment. I have become aware that teaching is not really about teaching, it’s about learning. It doesn’t matter how good I think I am as a teacher if my students aren't learning, then I am not succeeding. I study English in the university and spent a lot of time on speaking English in my life. Teaching should be student-centered starting from student needs and objectives and not from what the teacher wants them to put in their heads. So I really focused on Conversation Practice to help you become fluent in speaking, but if you are beginner don't worry! we can start learning from basic. I can provide you with the materials base on your level.
My students are very important to me, therefore their success is my first priority.

This was my first lesson with Ismail, having tried one or two other Indonesian/Malay teachers, and it was lovely. I'll definitely choose him as my teacher in future. Ismail is very patient, very friendly and very knowledgable, and he is able to gauge a student's level very quickly. I can't wait until next lesson. Makasih Mas!
