Hi, I'm Liliana Montoya. I'm mexican. I have a bachelor's degree in communication sciences and after obtaining a Spanish teaching degree I started teaching. I have experience for two years :) I have taught Spanish through different platforms. I love traveling and discovering exotic places. I am very interested in getting to know new cultures, languages and new people, as well as the different multicultural environments. I like everything related to human well-being. One of my favorite hobbies is swimming and studying film on my own :Dعني كمعلّم
My methods are exclusively focused on the learning method of each students. My classes are focused and designed according to the way of learning of each student. We all learn differently.
I work independently, and I have taught online for a year, my main students are adults, although I have also taught children :D!

I use my own materials, infographics, graphic explanations, flashcards, etc. Although I also use official materials from the different ELE teacher platforms. My classes are creative as well as dynamic, without forgetting the grammar and the necessary technique that is needed to learn a language.
The theoretical content that I use is usually that of the ELE theoretical framework, although depending on the level and the specific use that the student wants to give the language, I can vary and combine different methodologies and grammatical content.

Curso de "Guión Cinematográfico" - La Cuarta Pared - 2020Aprender diferentes lenguajes como el visual y el escrito (escritura creativa), el lenguaje del cine me permite enseñar de una forma mas dinámica e interesante a mis estudiantes, ya que a todos nos gusta el cine y me apoyo de los gustos personales a la hora de enseñar. El cine tiene su propio su lenguaje, y estudiarlo me permite tener ideas nuevas para mezclarlo con la enseñanza del español.

English Language Centre Canada - SELC - 2018Estudiar otro idioma me permitió aprender a guiar a mis alumnos en sus necesidades. Aquí conocí a muchos extranjeros que sólo querían conversar, y terminaba siempre dando una pequeña introducción a la gramática; así que comencé a proponer lecciones más armadas y preparadas con fines específicos, y de esta forma vi al avance personal como profesora y el avance de mis alumnos.

Profesora en líneaEstudié inglés en Vancouver, Canadá, por una temporada, y ahí conocí a muchos viajeros que estaban interesados en aprender a hablar español, así que ahí comencé. Unos meses después comencé a un Curso Universitario para la especialización en Formación para la enseñanza de español como lengua extranjera, ELE.

I love Lilana's teaching style. She's the perfect mix of challenging, prepared, kind, and fun. She doesn't let me speak much English at all and is also incredibly supportive when I'm trying to find the right words to express what I want to say.

Liliana is a fantastic Spanish teacher. She is flexible, patient, and encouraging. She knows the ins and outs of Spanish and is highly competent in teaching the language. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.
She’s fantastic with beginners and I’m sure would be perfect for intermediate and advanced learners, as well. 🙂

Liliana is a professional, prepared, and friendly Spanish tutor. I appreciated that she created an immersive environment and used Spanish as much as possible throughout the lesson. She was interactive and explained vocabulary and grammar concepts clearly. She made sure I understood each section before moving on to the next topic.
