Hello you! My name is Liù (yes, that’s my full name!) and I’m Italian. At the moment I’m studying languages, interpreting and translation at a really good university in Milan. I’m 26 and before going back to study I worked in the food sector and traveled a bit. I lived for a year in Vermont (US) as an exchange student and in Dublin (Ireland) as an Au pair. I speak English, Spanish, French and I’m trying to learn a little bit of Greek and Portuguese. I know how hard it is to learn a language from scratch, but I also know that it might be even harder to improve if you already know a language pretty well, because you might be stuck with a method that doesn’t work that well for you.عني كمعلّم
Essendo io in prima persona una studentessa di lingue, so bene quali sono le principali difficoltà quando si vuole imparare una nuova lingua. E’ importante riuscire ad affrontare diverse tipologie di apprendimento, quindi nelle mie lezioni ci si focalizzerà su vocabolario, conversazione, modi di dire, tradizioni culinarie, grammatica (che non può mai mancare), musica e un po’ di traduzione. Gli ultimi 5 minuti delle mie lezioni saranno dedicati al feedback, così da poter capire la tua percezione su cosa credi che ti sia più utile e cosa meno, in modo che io possa pian piano costruire di volta in volta lezioni sempre più specifiche per te!دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I miei metodi di insegnamento si baseranno su ciò di cui tu studente hai bisogno, ma saranno dettati anche da ciò che io ho scoperto essere il miglior modo per imparare. L’università che sto frequentando utilizza delle tecniche di insegnamento con un’impronta prettamente traduttiva, che tuttavia trovo molto utile per imparare velocemente a capire cosa funziona o cosa non funziona nell’altra lingua, e dove sono le principali difficoltà. Oltre che a farti imparare bene l’italiano, vorrei renderti il più credibile possibile, insegnandoti i diversi modi per costruire una frase.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

I cannot recommend Liù enough. Our minds work in the same way when it comes to languages, me being curious about how the language works grammatically and she being a grammar enthusiast. But her way of explaining these things is far from the usual boring method you get in a classroom. She uses your life and experiences as examples and solidifies your understanding by way of having an enjoyable chat in Italian. A teacher explaining Italian, but a friend during practice.

Liu has been teaching me Italian for the last couple of months and she is fantastic! I was a complete beginner but with her help I am really starting to understand and speak quite fluently. I have been doing an hour a day with her and then following up with assignments she has given me. If you are looking for someone who makes learning a language not just easy but fun then look no further. I cannot recommend her enough.

Liu is very familiar with the complexities of various languages and is able to break them down into parts that are easy to assimilate and understand. She has also provided me with material that will help me utilize what I am learning. She is congenial, fun and an all around very pleasant person to deal with. I highly recommend you give her a try!!
